There is a large gap between reimbursed costs and the actual cost of hospice in-patient care. We cannot bill the patients for these differences, so we rely on the generosity of our community to help make up the difference that will allow us to continue to provide the best end-of-life care possible. There are so many ways you can help:
- Money. Well, of course. Please use the button on the right to make a donation. We are grateful for any amount.
- United Way. If you contribute to United Way, we will receive a portion automatically. You can also choose Hospice of Laramie as your preferred agency. https://unitedwayalbanycounty.org/
- If you’re an Amazon shopper, you can sign up for Amazon Smile and select Hospice of Laramie as your charity. It doesn’t affect your purchases or costs and they donate .05% of your eligible purchase costs to us. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/chpf/about/
- Events. Hospice of Laramie hosts several fundraising events throughout the year. Not only are they great fun, but your participation helps immeasurably. See the Events tab for information.
- Memorial donations in memory of loved ones.
